June 30, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t2016 „<\/span>Information \t\t\t\t\t\t\tClearing House<\/span><\/a>“ \t\t\t\t\t\t\t–\u00a0 Democracy no longer exists in the West. In \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe US powerful private interest groups, such as the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tmilitary-security complex, Wall Street, the Israel \t\t\t\t\t\t\tLobby, agribusiness and the extractive industries of \t\t\t\t\t\t\tenergy, timber and mining, have long exercised more \t\t\t\t\t\t\tcontrol over government than the people. But now \t\t\t\t\t\t\teven the semblance of democracy has been abandoned.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the US \t\t\t\t\t\t\tDonald Trump has won the Republican presidential \t\t\t\t\t\t\tnomination. However, Republican convention delegates \t\t\t\t\t\t\tare plotting to deny Trump the nomination that the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpeople have voted him. The Republican political \t\t\t\t\t\t\testablishment is showing an unwillingness to accept \t\t\t\t\t\t\tdemocratic outcomes.
\nThe people chose, but their choice is unacceptable \t\t\t\t\t\t\tto the establishment which intends to substitute its \t\t\t\t\t\t\tchoice for the people\u2019s choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you \t\t\t\t\t\t\tremember Dominic Strauss-Kahn? Strauss-Kahn is the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrenchman who was head of the IMF and, according to \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpolls, the likely next president of France. He said \t\t\t\t\t\t\tsomething that sounded too favorable toward the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tGreek people. This concerned powerful banking \t\t\t\t\t\t\tinterests who worried that he might get in the way \t\t\t\t\t\t\tof their plunder of Greece, Portugal, Spain, and \t\t\t\t\t\t\tItaly. A hotel maid appeared who accused him of \t\t\t\t\t\t\trape. He was arrested and held without bail. After \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe police and prosecutors had made fools of \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthemselves, he was released with all charges \t\t\t\t\t\t\tdropped. But the goal was achieved. Strauss-Kahn had \t\t\t\t\t\t\tto resign as IMF director and kiss goodbye his \t\t\t\t\t\t\tchance for the presidency of France.<\/span><\/p>\n

Curious, \t\t\t\t\t\t\tisn\u2019t it, that a woman has now appeared who claims \t\t\t\t\t\t\tTrump raped her when she was 13 years old. <\/span><\/p>\n

Consider \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe political establishment\u2019s response to the Brexit \t\t\t\t\t\t\tvote. Members of Parliament are saying that the vote \t\t\t\t\t\t\tis unacceptable and that Parliament has the right \t\t\t\t\t\t\tand responsibility to ignore the voice of the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpeople.<\/span><\/p>\n

The view \t\t\t\t\t\t\tnow established in the West is that the people are \t\t\t\t\t\t\tnot qualified to make political decisions. The \t\t\t\t\t\t\tposition of the opponents of Brexit is clear: it \t\t\t\t\t\t\tsimply is not a matter for the British people \t\t\t\t\t\t\twhether their sovereignty is given away to an \t\t\t\t\t\t\tunaccountable commission in Brussels. <\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Schultz, President of the EU Parliament, puts \t\t\t\t\t\t\tit clearly: <\/span>\u201cIt is not the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tEU philosophy that the crowd can decide its fate.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Western \t\t\t\t\t\t\tmedia have made it clear that they do not accept the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpeople\u2019s decision either. The vote is said to be \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201cracist\u201d and therefore can be disregarded as \t\t\t\t\t\t\tillegitimate. <\/span><\/p>\n

Washington \t\t\t\t\t\t\thas no intention of permitting the British to exit \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe European Union. Washington did not work for 60 \t\t\t\t\t\t\tyears to put all of Europe in the EU bag that \t\t\t\t\t\t\tWashington can control only to let democracy undo \t\t\t\t\t\t\tits achievement. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Federal \t\t\t\t\t\t\tReserve, its Wall Street allies, and its Bank of \t\t\t\t\t\t\tJapan and European Central Bank vassals will short \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe UK pound and equities, and the presstitutes will \t\t\t\t\t\t\texplain the decline in values as \u201cthe market\u2019s\u201d \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpronouncement that the British vote was a mistake. \t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf Britain is actually permitted to leave, the \t\t\t\t\t\t\ttwo-year long negotiations will be used to tie the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tBritish into the EU so firmly that Britain leaves in \t\t\t\t\t\t\tname only.<\/span><\/p>\n

No one with \t\t\t\t\t\t\ta brain believes that Europeans are happy that \t\t\t\t\t\t\tWashington and NATO are driving them into conflict \t\t\t\t\t\t\twith Russia. Yet their protests have no effect on \t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir governments. <\/span><\/p>\n

Consider \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe French protests of what the neoliberal French \t\t\t\t\t\t\tgovernment, masquerading as socialist, calls \u201clabor \t\t\t\t\t\t\tlaw reforms.\u201d What the \u201creform\u201d does is to take away \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe reforms that the French people achieved over \t\t\t\t\t\t\tdecades of struggle. The French made employment more \t\t\t\t\t\t\tstable and less uncertain, thereby reducing stress \t\t\t\t\t\t\tand contributing to the happiness of life. But the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tcorporations want more profit and regard regulations \t\t\t\t\t\t\tand laws that benefit people as barriers to higher \t\t\t\t\t\t\tprofitability. Neoliberal economists backed the \t\t\t\t\t\t\ttakeback of French labor rights with the false \t\t\t\t\t\t\targument that a humane society causes unemployment. \t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe neoliberal economists call it \u201cliberating the \t\t\t\t\t\t\temployment market\u201d from reforms achieved by the \t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrench people.<\/span><\/p>\n

The French \t\t\t\t\t\t\tgovernment, of course, represents corporations, not \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe French people.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \t\t\t\t\t\t\tneoliberal economists and politicians have no qualms \t\t\t\t\t\t\tabout sacrificing the quality of French life in \t\t\t\t\t\t\torder to clear the way for global corporations to \t\t\t\t\t\t\tmake more profits. What is the value in \u201cthe global \t\t\t\t\t\t\tmarket\u201d when the result is to worsen the fate of \t\t\t\t\t\t\tpeoples?<\/span><\/p>\n

Consider \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Germans. They are being overrun with refugees \t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom Washington\u2019s wars, wars that the stupid German \t\t\t\t\t\t\tgovernment enabled. The German people are \t\t\t\t\t\t\texperiencing increases in crime and sexual attacks. \t\t\t\t\t\t\tThey protest, but their government does not hear \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthem. The German government is more concerned about \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe refugees than it is about the German people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consider \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Greeks and the Portuguese forced by their \t\t\t\t\t\t\tgovernments to accept personal financial ruin in \t\t\t\t\t\t\torder to boost the profits of foreign banks. These \t\t\t\t\t\t\tgovernments represent foreign bankers, not the Greek \t\t\t\t\t\t\tand Portuguese people.<\/span><\/p>\n

One wonders \t\t\t\t\t\t\thow long before all Western peoples conclude that \t\t\t\t\t\t\tonly a French Revolution complete with guillotine \t\t\t\t\t\t\tcan set them free.<\/span><\/p>\n
