armenier<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Vi m\u00e5ste tyv\u00e4rr meddela att professor \u00c5ke Daun g\u00e5tt bort under m\u00e5ndagen den 24 juli i Stockholm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c5ke Daun f\u00f6dd 1936 var professor i etnologi vid Institutet f\u00f6r folklivsforskning vid Stockholms universitet och Nordiska museet 1981-2001.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201dHan bidrog starkt till f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringen av svensk etnologi, vilken inleddes fr\u00e5n slutet av 1960-talet. Etnologi\u00e4mnet i Sverige blev fr\u00e5n den tiden mer sociologiskt och antropologiskt inriktat\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Professor \u00c5ke Daun v\u00e4rnade om Armenien och dess folk och han visade ett stort intresse f\u00f6r de armeniska fr\u00e5gorna. Han samarbetade under m\u00e5nga \u00e5r med armeniska organisationer och med armenier i Sverige och i Armenien.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Med sin starka personlighet och sina kraftfulla skrifter bidrog han till erk\u00e4nnanden och f\u00f6rd\u00f6manden av folkmordet p\u00e5 armenier 1915.
